Olivia Park (Flute)
President
Olivia Park is a senior at Archbishop Mitty High School and a passionate flutist and saxophonist.
A 2025 National YoungArts Winner with Distinction in Classical Music, Olivia is currently the principal flute for the California Youth Symphony Senior Orchestra and served as the principal flute for the California All-State High School Symphony Orchestra in 2024 and 2025.
Olivia began playing the flute at age nine and has since earned top honors in competitions such as the ENKOR International Music Competition, KAMSA Young Artist Competition, and Young Musicians Competition, as well as the Grand Prize at the Silicon Valley Music Competition. She was also named an Outstanding Gold Medalist with a scholarship at the US Open Music Competition and received a Command Performance at the CMEA Bay Section Solo and Ensemble Festival. She has further refined her artistry through programs such as the Boston University Tanglewood Institute’s Flute Workshop and the Junior Bach Festival.
At school, Olivia leads the pep band as drum major, is a key member of the pit orchestra for award-winning musical performances, and plays the alto and soprano saxophones in her school's jazz band. Recently, she received the Outstanding Musician Award at the 2025 Folsom Jazz Festival for her rendition of "Pure Imagination".
Last but not least, Olivia is an avid Taekwondo athlete with a 3rd-degree black belt and actively works as a Junior Instructor at her studio.

Andrew Kim (Oboe & English Horn)
President
Andrew is a senior oboist at Branham High School, where he performs with the Wind Ensemble on oboe and English horn, and with the Pep Band on alto saxophone. A musician since childhood, he began piano in 2nd grade and oboe in 6th, earning Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC) Level 10 certification with state and branch honor awards.
Beyond school, Andrew serves as principal oboist of the Senior Orchestra in the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (CPYO), where he won the 2024 CPYO Concerto Competition. He has been selected four times for the California All-State Honor Band and three times for the Santa Clara County Honor Band. In the summer of 2025, he attended the prestigious Boston University Tanglewood Institute Oboe Workshop. His artistry has been recognized in numerous state and international competitions for both his solo and ensemble performances.
Outside of music, Andrew is a short-track speed skater, earning 2nd place in the California State Championship and certified as a Fundamental Speed Skating coach. He is also passionate about robotics and Rubik’s Cubing.
Eileen Kim (Violin)
Vice-President
Eileen Kim is a senior at Mountain View High School. She began playing violin and piano at the age of 8 and currently studies violin with Mr. Byungwoo Kim.
Eileen is currently a member of California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra and the principal of violin II at her high school orchestra. She also played in KAMSA Orchestra and HopeBox Youth Orchestra in 2022. Besides violin, she enjoys playing piano as well. She performed in the MTAC public piano concert in 2018 and won the 1st prize in SF International Innovative Competition in 2022. Other than music, Eileen likes to read, draw, and hang with friends in her spare time.
Peter Yoon (Violin)
Vice-President
Peter Yoon, a senior at Leland High School, has been playing violin since the age of eight and currently studies under Mr. Byung-Woo Kim. His talent has earned him numerous awards from the AFAF International Music Competition, the American Protégé International Competition of Romantic Music, the Silicon Valley Music Competition, the Bay Area Music Association Competition, the USOMC, the Peninsula Young Musicians Competition, and the Charleston International Virtuoso Music Competition. Peter performed in the Junior Bach Festival in 2023 and, that same year, was selected to perform with the California All-State Ensemble Orchestra. He returned to the All-State Ensemble in 2024 and later appeared as a soloist with the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (CPYO). Currently, he serves as co-concertmaster of CPYO and as concertmaster of the Leland Chamber Orchestra.
Beyond his musical achievements, Peter is dedicated to community service, volunteering at the Academy of Music and Arts for Special Education (AMASE) where he teaches violin to students with special needs.
Aside from music, Peter enjoys 3D modeling, playing sports, building model kits, and spending time with friends.
Steven Yoon (Cello)
Steven Yoon is currently a senior at Leland High School. He has been playing the cello since the age of 9 under the tutelage of Kyeong Hwa Kim.
Steven has won numerous awards, including first place in the American Fine Arts Festival Concerto Competition, US International Open Music Competition(BAMA), Silicon Valley Music Competition, America Youth Talent International Music Competition, and second place in USOMC, American Protégé International Concerto Competition, Enkor International Music Competition, and state OPUS music competition. Steven has been a member of the California Philharmonic Youth Orchestra(CPYO) for the last 7 years and serves as the co-principal of the cello section this year. He won its concerto competition in 2023 and 2025, earning a solo with the orchestra. In addition, Steven participated in multiple All State Orchestras hosted by the California Orchestra Directors Association. During his summers, he studied and received masterclasses under notable faculty such as Hans Jørgen Jensen and Brannon Cho at Encore Chamber Music Institute in 2023, and Allison Eldridge at Boston University’s Tanglewood Institute in 2024.
Apart from competing and orchestral work, Steven enjoys serving people through music. He is a member of the Academy of Music and Arts for Special Education(AMASE), a non-profit organization that provides music and art education to individuals with special needs.
Outside of music, Steven enjoys doing photography, playing sports, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.
Yijin Chong (Clarinet)
Yijin Chong is a senior at Archbishop Mitty High School. From the age of 11, he has been studying with the instructor Hye Min Yun.
Previously, he participated in All State Honor Band and Santa Clara Honor Band. He won several competitions such as Silicon Valley Music Competition (solo and ensemble), American Fine Arts Festival International Music Competition (Romantic Music), Enkor Music Competition, and Charleston International Music Competition (trio). Beside playing clarinet, Yijin has played piano with the guidance of Soyeon Kim; he placed in the Silicon Valley Music Competition Honors Circle multiple times, and achieved CM test level 10. In 2024 and 2025, he composed and performed award winning songs for Never Such Innocence Global Competition. In addition to his musical journey, he works hard to promote creative advocacy such as making a documentary on the issues related to the aging population.
