Olivia Park (Flute & Saxophone)
Olivia, a senior at Archbishop Mitty High School, is a flutist recognized as a 2025 National YoungArts Winner with Distinction in Classical Music. She was invited to perform at the New World Center in Miami during National YoungArts Week, where she also competed and received a cash prize. Olivia is the principal flutist of the California Youth Symphony Senior Orchestra and served as principal flute of the California All-State High School Symphony Orchestra in both 2024 and 2025. She is also a 2025-26 Fellow in From the Top’s Learning and Media Lab by NPR.
She has earned top honors in competitions including the ENKOR International Music Competition, KAMSA Young Artist Competition, and US Open Music Competition, where she was named Outstanding Gold Medalist with scholarship. She received a Command Performance at the 2025 CMEA Bay Section Solo and Ensemble Festival and has further developed her artistry through programs such as the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Flute Workshop and the Junior Bach Festival.
At school, Olivia leads the pep band as drum major, performs in the pit orchestra, and plays alto and soprano saxophones in her jazz band. She was recognized as an Outstanding Musician at the 2025 Folsom Jazz Festival for her rendition of "Pure Imagination". Beyond music, she is a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo and serves as a Junior Instructor, inspiring younger students.
